The Riviera is a reason to stay put for a while. Choose a coastal base, build your days around the water, and resist the temptation to change hotels every night. Ksamil, Himarë and Dhërmi offer different starting points; a beautiful photo alone does not tell you which one suits your trip.

Choose your base

Use Himarë as an option for a town-and-beach stay; consider the southern coast if Butrint is high on your list. Check the actual distance from your accommodation to the beach: a hillside address can mean a steep walk back.

Plan a beach day

Bring water, sun protection and footwear suitable for pebbles. Confirm lounger prices and access arrangements before settling in. Beach conditions, services and crowds depend on your dates.

Add a cultural stop

Butrint combines an archaeological visit with the landscape of the far south. Check the current opening hours and ticket conditions before travel. Allow time for the journey instead of adding it as a rushed stop.
